Ash Nets (45ltr)

Woodsure Ready To Burn (WS529)

Premium kiln dried ash logs, supplied in 45ltr (approx) nets, cut to 25cm (10inch) lengths, split and kiln-dried to have a moisture content below 20%.

45ltr nets -vs- 55ltr ash sacks.  These nets are offered for sale as an alternative to our 55ltr sacks. During the winter, we often do not have the time to open a crate and bag the sacks hence this ash option.  Same high quality, kiln dried ash logs, and price works out less than the sacks.  If you normally buy the sacks, please give these a try.

Ash is denser, hence harder to light than other hardwoods but will last much longer once alight.  Buy with Birch Sacks to get your stove up to heat before adding Oak to reduce the stove reloading times.

Ash logs are a by-product of the timber industry.  Using the smaller branches and misshapen lengths of wood that cannot be used in the manufacture of furniture, flooring, structural frames, and veneers.

• Kiln dried hardwood, Ready to burn accredited
• Logs’ moisture levels 20% or less
• High calorific value with long burn time
• Regarded as the best burning firewood.
• Produces a lovely, romantic flame
• Less refilling.  As ash burns more slowly, you will not have to tend the fire as often.

If you are storing your logs outside, keep them above ground and protect with a waterproof cover.
