Please be aware that installers should still permanently fix these alarms, as per manufacturers instructions and Hetas guidance, to the wall/ceiling. It would not be deemed acceptable to simply stand the alarm on a shelf for example, as it could then be moved (or removed), and no longer be in a suitable position to detect signs of CO7.
