Chimney Sweep Pricing

Pricing is dependant on your location; time of year; and whether ABOC have swept your chimney before.

Our local area:

• Newcastle City, East and North: NE1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 12
• North Tyneside, all post codes:  NE25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
• Existing customers:  £65, add £20 (=£85) first service charge if ABOC have never swept the chimney before.
  
• Summer discount (May to July), less £10 = £55, add £20 (=£75) first service charge as above
  
• If sweeping more than one chimney in the property on the same day, £55 each additional sweep.

Getting across the city or across the Tyne can easily add 30 minutes to the return journey. Adjacent to our local area incurs an additional travel cost of £10.  This will be waived if you order fuel to be delivered at the same time as the sweep (minimum £50).

• Newcastle West and North of A1: NE4, 5, 13, 15, 23, 24
  
• Gateshead Areas: NE8, 9, 10, 11, 16, 21
  
• South Tyneside: NE31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37
• Existing customers: £75, add £10 (=£85) first service charge if ABOC have never swept the chimney before.
• Summer discount (May to July), less £10 = £65, add £10 (=£75) first service charge as above
  
• If sweeping more than one chimney in the property on the same day, £55 each additional sweep.

Outside of the areas above, we are no longer able to offer a chimney sweeping service.

A standard sweep takes approximately one hour.  Chimneys that have not been swept within 3 years can take a bit longer.  Should we encounter any problems such as a birds nest or broken components:

• If longer than one hour, add £12.50 per 15 minutes.

Online payment is not possible as our 8% discount over £130 spend does not apply to chimney sweeps.  Once we resolve this problem it will be reopened.  Thanks.
