GC1 Gas Plates and Cowls

Description Plate
Gas Clamp Plate(GC1) is a two piece aluminium plate used to support the liner at the top of the stack.

Installation
Screw the tow nuts and bolts togethers to hold the flue liner securely. Make sure the lips of the plate go into the convolution groove of the flue liner.

Description Cowl
Gas terminal (GC1) Cowls. These types of cowls must be used to terminate a liner installed on gas fired appliances.

Installation
Place the terminal over the protruding liner, you can screw a stainless steel screw through the cowl and flue liner to secure. Now apply a suitable acid resistant cement as a seal and weather proof render over the clamp plate and up to the bottom holes of the cowl.

Description Flu Bug
Flu Bug is a pot hanger cowl that is suitable to a gas liner.

Installation
Secure the flue liner to the inner tube of the flue bug.
Now secure the flue bug to the chimney pot.

Maintenance
It is recommended that chimneys serving gas and oil appliances be swept and maintained as frequently as necessary but at least once a year.
