BOTTOM FIXINGS
Bottom fixings are used to make the transitional change from the connecting flue system to the Flexible flue liner. The connection to the flex should be made inside the confines of the existing masonry chimney and no flex should be on show at any time. Provisions must me made to secure the bottom fixing into the connecting flue below and the flexible above to make a gas tight seal, The use of fire cement, ceramic rope or tape or high temperature sealant its advisable.
SPECIFIC APPLICATION
This 0.6mm 316 s/s adaptor is designed to be a transitional joint connecting a ridged single wall connecting flue system to MI-FLEX. This adaptor increases up 25mm from the single wall to the flexible flue liner.

DESCRIPTION
MF20 MI-FLEX accessories is a family of installation fitting that have been perfectly designed for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. When fitted in conjunction together It will make a full system chimney.
GENERAL APPLICATION
These items are to be used in conjunction with MI-FLEX Multi fuel flexible flue liner. Building Regulations Document J requires that a flexible flue liner can only be installed completely enclosed inside a masonry chimney. A non masonry enclosure such as timber or plasterboard boxing in is not acceptable. All items are suitable for use on appliances up to 600°C (T600 designation). Suitable for use on Wood <20% moisture, Smokeless coal, Gas and oil.
