The Vermiculite Fire Resistant Board by VITCAS is a reliable and efficient fire-proof insulation board, refractory to temperatures of up to 1100 degrees Celsius (2010 degrees Fahrenheit). This versatile board serves as an excellent heat shield, register plate, or replacement for fire bricks in wood-burning or multi-fuel stoves.

Its excellent properties make it suitable for indoor or covered applications, including fireplaces, stoves, heaters, range cookers, boilers, night storage heaters, vessels & tanks, and hobby kilns.

The boards are easily cut to size with woodworking tools, and the linings contain no ceramic or asbestos fibres. They are non-dusting, non-irritant and odourless.

  • Sealant and Finish Options: The edges of the board and the flue pipe can be sealed to the board using Vitcas Heat Resistant Silicone.

Finishing:

For finishing and decoration, spraying with Heat Resistant Paint Spray is recommended, or you can seal the board with PVA and tile it with Vitcas Heat Resistant Tile Adhesive.
