Wood/ Charcoals for Cooking
Solid fuels for BBQ's, Braai's and Pizza ovens. ABOC supply fuels to many food outlets throughout the North East.
Charcoal is a lightweight black carbon residue produced by strongly heating wood in minimal oxygen to remove all water and volatile constituents. The charcoal is sold in natural pieces, or compressed into hexagonal briquettes.
Braai woods are extremely dense, sun-dried (predominantly South African) logs with high calorific properties that provide an intense, long-lasting heat for your fire. Traditionally used for cooking on the braai (grill), these firewood logs are suitable for use on a range of burning appliances.
Beech logs perfectly compliment wood fired pizza ovens. Compressed Beech wood produces low smoke, a delicate flavour and hot flames. The compression process removes even more internal moisture, meaning each log burns with a super hot temperature and cleaner burn. Wood pellets can also be used on pizza ovens designed to burn them.
